ACM UMAP 2021 – The 29th Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalization will be held fully online from Utrecht, the Netherlands between June 21-25, 2021.
Christoph Trattner, Centre director of MediaFutures, Dietmar Jannach, professor II and Mehdi Elahi, researcher at MediaFutures will participate in the conference.
On 23 June in the UM for Health Session Cataldo Musto, Alain Starke, Christoph Trattner, Amon Rapp and Giovanni Semeraro will present their paper with the title of “Exploring the Effects of Natual Language Justifications on Food Recommender Systems”
The next day, on 24 June, Dietmar Jannach, Mehdi Elahi and Christoph Trattner will participate to present several papers with other researchers.
In the poster sessions in the LBR category, MediaFutures is represented with two papers: Mehdi Elahi, Himan Abdollahpouri, Masoud Mansoury and Helma Torkamaan will present their poster: “Beyond Algorithmic Fairness in Recommender Systems”.
The paper “Recommending Videosin Cold Start With Automatic Visual Tags” will be presented by Mehdi Elahi, Farshad Bakhshandegan Moghaddam, Reza Hosseini, Mohammad Hossein Rimaz, Nabil El Ioini, Marko Tkalcic, Christoph Trattner and Tammam Tillo.
Also on 24 June, in the session Interfaces 2, Dietmar Jannach, Mathias Jesse, Michael Jugovac and Christoph Trattner will speak about their paper: “Exploring Multi-List User Interfaces for Similar-Item Recommendations”.
