The Steering Board is responsible for both setting the strategic directions of the centre and overseeing its work.
The majority of the Steering Board are user partners and the board is chaired by an elected user partner representative. It has the responsibility for ensuring timely access to user partner data and infrastructure, for approving the annual reports and for decisions concerning changes to the consortium structure, including approving the inclusion of new user partners (2/3 majority vote rule).
In it’s first board meeting in March 2021, the board elected Christian Birkeland from TV2 as his chair.
