Professor Gottfried Greve has been appointed as Vice-Rector for the period 2021-2025. His responsibilities include following up the University of Bergen’s academic priority areas, innovation work, knowledge clusters, and research infrastructure.

The visit presented MediaFutures with an opportunity to showcase the centre and its achievements. MediaFutures’ scientists, and industry partners, among them Eivind Fiskerud from Bergens Tidende and Lars Skjærven from TV2, were given the chance to present their research and latest work, and to reflect on the academic-industry partnership. 

“With the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, we were finally able to meet in person with our distinguished guests, MediaFutures researchers and industry partners. The gathering represented a long-awaited opportunity to showcase our Centre and its activities, as well as to socialize and get to know each other better. I would like to express my gratitude towards our guests for finding time in their busy schedules to visit us. I hope this was the first of many visits to come”, says Prof. Christoph Trattner.
