MediaFutures is proud to present a brand new seminar series that will feature world class researchers throughout the academic semesters. The seminars are open to all and will be streamed online.
We had a soft start on 11 March 2021, with Associate Professor Duc Tien Dang Nguyen, University of Bergen, giving a talk on “Multimedia Verification”. This seminar was organised by WP3 Media Content Production & Analysis.
Next up will be Professor Axel Bruns from Queensland University of Technology with the talk “Are Filter Bubbles Real?”, on 16 April 2021, 09:00-10:00. This seminar is organized by WP1 Understanding Media Experience.
Shortly thereafter, on 20 April, 14:00-15:00, we will have a talk titled “Reflections of Ourselves – Mobile Psychological Assessment with Smartphones”, with Postdoctoral Researcher Clemens Stachl from the Stanford University. WP2 User Modeling, Personalisation & Engagement will be hosting this seminar.
