Jiajing Wan

Jiajing Wan is a PHD candidate in Work Package 5 at MediaFutures, University of Bergen. She holds a MSc in IT&cognition from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and a BEng in Intelligence Science and Technology from Sun Yat-sen university, China. She has worked as a research assistant on projects investigating the effectiveness of rumor refutation on social media and personalized news headline generation. Her interest lies in exploring how language technology can be leveraged to extract more information from media in order to create fairer and more personalized AI systems.
