At our Annual Meeting in November 2024, we invited slam poet Marlene Rom to create a unique piece about SFI MediaFutures.
Slam poetry is a type of performance poetry that blends writing, performance, competition, and audience involvement. The audience can either praise or critique the poems and is wanted to be highly engaged.
We were truly impressed by Marlene’s powerful performance and her creative interpretation of us as a research center dedicated to innovation, prototypes, and impactful results.
