Nabil Belbachir holds a PhD from the Technical University of Vienna in machine vision (2005) and an engineering and master's degree from the University of Science and Technology in Oran in electronics (1996) and signal processing (2000) respectively. He is the Research Director at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS, leading the DARWIN (Data, AI, and Robotics) group, and also serves as a director at euRobotics Aisbl.
