We are excited to introduce Jiajing Wan, who has just joined us as a PhD candidate in Work Package 5! Hailing from China, Jiajing brings a solid academic background with a Master’s in IT & Cognition from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor’s in Intelligence Science and Technology from Sun Yat-sen University.
Throughout her academic journey, Jiajing has worked on various research projects that align closely with our focus at MediaFutures. Her work has included exploring personalized news headline generation and investigating methods to counter misinformation on social media platforms.
These experiences have equipped her with valuable skills and knowledge, particularly in applying language technology to create more fair and personalized AI systems, which is an area of great relevance to our ongoing research.
Outside of research, Jiajing likes to spend her time creating ceating indie games with her friends. We’re really looking forward to seeing the fresh ideas she brings to the team!
